Meet our
REAch Teach Team👩‍🏫

Andrea Wright As Head of Learning and Development for REAch2 Academy Trust, I strategically support the learning of over 3000 staff. The impact of a great teacher is profound and I am honoured to help develop future generations of teachers through purposeful and powerful initial teacher training.

I’ve worked in education for 20 years, starting as a secondary English teacher before taking on support, consultancy and senior leadership roles in a range of schools. I have worked in teacher training and development for the latter part of my career, writing and delivering a range of training programmes.
HEAD OF LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Stephanie Larking I joined REAch2 over 7 years ago, and in that time have gained extensive insights into the organisation through carrying out a variety of senior support roles.

I’m excited to carry out a crucial role in supporting our SCITT, and look forward to contributing to create the next generation of educators and therefore positively shaping the life trajectories of children across the UK.

My aim is to facilitate the seamless operation of our programme, ensuring an overall positive and enriching experience for our trainees.
SCITT BUSINESS MANAGER
Kate McGreal Prior to joining REAch2, I spent 6 years working at Teach First in a range of positions supporting Early Years and Primary trainees.

I have always had a drive to address the inequalities in life chances for under-resourced children; this is woven throughout our curriculum and partnership schools and at the very heart of our programme.

I’m absolutely passionate about an excellent trainee experience and am looking forward to meeting you soon to support you on your journey.
NATIONAL ITT LEAD
Nichola Grimshaw I spent the last 17 years in a large university ITT department, with responsibility for the training of over 1,000 primary and early years trainee teachers.

I was drawn to the fundamental values of REAch2, and by the determination to ensure that every child thrives.

The privilege of working with trainee teachers is seeing every element of being a skilled teacher start to make sense, knowing that they’re off on their adventure to make a significant difference to the life outcomes of the children they teach!
REGIONAL ITT LEAD
Kim Kirner I have worked in inner-city primary schools for 16 years: 11 of those as a senior leader. My previous role was as a Deputy Headteacher in a REAch2 school, where I found the organisation that aligns with my values and beliefs about education as a great leveller.

I have a passion for pedagogy and believe that great teachers are at the heart of great schools. I have mentored a countless number of trainees over the years, and it’s always been an absolute privilege. I am very much looking forward to supporting the next generation of teachers as they join us on this exciting, memorable and transformative journey.
